I opened the door yesterday to find a package on my doorstep from Taylor & Carl. When I opened it, I found this gorgeous handcrafted bowl by the groom himself and a thoughtful thank you note. They had incorporated some of the bowls into their wedding festivities and I swooned over how pretty they were. I never imagined that I would have one of my own. Thank you Taylor and Carl so much!! It will always stay on my office shelf!
That bowl is beautiful!!!! What a cool thank you. On a side note wooden bowls are the best for making caesar salads bc you rub the ingredients right into the wood and it holds flavor.

There’s nothing sweeter than dropping off a disc and seeing this little baby on the counter waiting for me. She knows I oh-so-LOVE the blue willow ware china. I use it in my shoots often, it decorates my office and it will become a big part of the LLP world soon! She makes the best chicken gumbo too

Laura just completed an amazing portrait session for my family. Well you can tell from my darling Fiona’s pictures she’ll capture the soul of your little angel… seriously she’s an amazing artist! I really remember being there for Fiona’s first time at the beach and her eating all the sand and shells… Laura captured that precious moment with such beauty I can’t even explain!
And to top it off she is a wonderful person too!

Seriously, a thank you in this business is the best. At least I think it is. I was thinking the other day too. I remember working the 9-5 dig in college and right out of college. A lot of my work was customer service. I’m pretty laid back and down to earth or like to think so but you still had the occasional grump-grump person to deal with.
I am floored and still am by the constant “thank you’s” and appreciation I get. I get to capture all the great milestones in life like the birth of a baby, an engagement or wedding day. So it might be cheating a little bit but I think it’s pretty cool
I got this super thoughtful gift from Courtney a couple of weeks ago. It’s awesome. I needed a new one too!
And this is beside my computer in my office. These sweet thank you notes remind me why I love doing what I do.
